Please note that each person who participates in the Contest fully and unconditionally agrees to comply with and abide by these Official Rules and with the decision of Compechek Market Research, the judging organization for the Contest, whose decision shall be final and legally binding in all respects.

The “GCOC Quarterly Customer Survey Quarterly Contests” (the “Contests”) is operated by Great Canadian Oil Change (“GCOC”) and Compechek Market Research (“CMR”) (collectively, the “Sponsors”). Each quarterly contest period will commence at 12:00:01 a.m. CST, on the first day of the quarter (the “Contest Start Date”) and conclude at 11:59:59 p.m. CST on the last day of the quarter (the “Contest Closing Date”). The quarters are: January 1st to March 31st, April 1st to June 30th, July 1st to September 30th, October 1st to December 31st of each year.


No purchase is required in order to enter the Contest. All entries are subject to audit.


To be eligible to win you must complete the short 10 question survey on-line and then enter the contest. To be eligible to win one of five extended prizes, you must complete the full survey on-line and then enter the contest. Survey entries that are not complete are not eligible. Entrant must be of legal driving age in Province of residence.

3. DRAW.

Random draws for each quarterly prize package will be held at the offices of CRM within 12 days following each Contest Close Date, from among all eligible entries received. Odds of winning a prize depend upon the total number of eligible entries received in Canada. Prizes must be accepted as awarded, cannot be substituted, are not transferable and have no other cash value other than stated. The Sponsors reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value, if a prize cannot be awarded for any reason. An entrant cannot win more than one prize package in each quarterly contest period.


Selected entrants will be notified by phone or email. Awarding of the prizes is subject to verification and compliance with the Official Rules. If a selected entrant cannot be contacted by phone or email after five attempts or within 10 calendar days of the draw date or does not meet all of the contest conditions, then the entrant forfeits the prize and another entrant will be selected.


Entry is open only to residents of Canada (excluding the North West Territories and Nunavut) who are of legal driving age within their Province of residence at each Contest Start Date. The following persons are not eligible to enter the Contest: employees, directors, officers, representatives and agents of the Sponsors or their affiliates, including employees of GCOC locations, their respective advertising or promotion agencies, Contest judges, Contest prize suppliers, any other entities engaged in the development, production or distribution of materials for this Contest and members of the immediate families (defined as spouse or biological or step- mother, father, sister, brother, daughter, son or dependant) of any person in any of the preceding categories, regardless of where they live, or who reside in the same household, whether related or not, as any person in any of the preceding categories.


By participating in this Contest, you accept and agree to these rules and decisions of the judges, which shall be final and legally binding on entrants in all matters relating to this Contest. All entries become the property of GCOC and will not be returned. Entrants who have not complied with the Official Rules will be disqualified. Each winner agrees to the use of his/her name, comments, photograph and other likeness for publicity purposes and grants to the Sponsors any and all rights to said use without further compensation except where required by law.

It is the entrant’s responsibility to ensure that he or she has complied with all the requirements and conditions contained in these Official Rules. The Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Sponsors find: to be tampering with the entry process or with the operation of the Contest; to be acting in violation of these Official Rules; or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or to be acting with the intent to corrupt, distort, disrupt or undermine the legitimate operation or security of the Contest. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAW. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSORS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.


Sponsors and their respective affiliates are not responsible for printing, distribution or production errors. The Sponsors may, at their sole discretion and without liability, modify, cancel, terminate, rescind or suspend this Contest, in whole or in part, if it determines that for any reason the Contest cannot be run as originally planned or if there is any other occurrence compromising the fairness or integrity of the Contest including, without limitation, in the event of a virus, a computer bug or unauthorized human intervention or any other cause that is beyond the control of the Sponsors that could corrupt or affect the administration, security, impartiality or normal course of this Contest. By entering this Contest, each entrant acknowledges that the Sponsors shall not be required to award more prizes than the prizes described above. This promotion is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws. Void where prohibited. Taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winner.


By entering this Contest, each entrant acknowledges and agrees, on their own behalf, that GCOC, CMR and participating GCOC locations, their respective affiliates, agencies, Contest prize suppliers, and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively the “Releasees”) shall have no liability. Each Contest entrant hereby agrees to release the Releasees and holds them harmless from any liability, with regard to any injury, accident, loss, damage, or expense relating to or in any way arising from this Contest or their prize.


By completing an entry form, each entrant consents to the collection, use and distribution of his/her personal information by the Sponsors and such personal information will be used solely for the administration of the Contest, and, if applicable, in connection with any publicity relating to the Contest. No communication unrelated to GCOC will be sent to any entrant by unless the entrant in question has otherwise authorized GCOC or one of its affiliates, as the case may be, to do so.


The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Official Rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. These Official Rules cannot be modified or amended in any way except in a written document, issued in accordance with law, by a duly authorized representative of the Sponsors.


All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules or the rights and obligations of an entrant or the Sponsor(s) in connection with the Contest shall be determined under, governed by and construed in accordance with the laws, including the procedural provisions thereof, of the Province of British Columbia, Canada without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other jurisdiction’s laws.
